My name is Jessy Miller and I am currently 25 years old. In my time away from NASCAR journalism I’ve received my B.S. in Mass Communications along with my minor in journalism.
The first race I ever watched was 2015 at Watkins Glen International Speedway. That faithful day I sat down on the floor, took one look at the TV during the pace laps and was transfixed. Prior to that race I grew up in a household where “Jess, the race is on!” meant it was finally summer. We’d spend the day in and out of the house, swimming in our pool while my dad grilled something. The Cup race would play in the background all afternoon.
I further fell in love with NASCAR in 2016 when I was approached by the Co-Owner of LadiesOfSpeed.org (LOS), then called NascarFemale.com. I was offered a position covering Team Penske. After a bit of convincing I took them up on the offer and soon was writing articles every week covering Brad Keselowski (No. 2), Joey Logano (No. 22), and Ryan Blaney (No. 21 for the Wood Brothers).
I helped edit for LOS during late 2016 and for a large part of 2017. During this time I also helped create the Journey to Cup page on their website. I also sporadically wrote articles for RaceProWeekly and an article for the Podium Finish.
