Sunday’s race at North Wilkesboro Speedway proved to be all 22. Three time NASCAR Cup Series Champion Joey Logano (No. 22) broke his 2026 winless streak at the historic North Carolina track this evening. Qualifying for the Window World 450 was canceled due to rain and Logano was set to start in 11th. When Logano took the lead the No. 22 Shell Pennzoil Ford stayed up front for almost the entirety of the race. The Middletown, Connecticut native ultimately lead 323 of the 450 laps at the short track, a new record for laps lead in a single race by Logano.
Once Logano was out front and when he found his line on the bottom, he stuck to it. Denny Hamlin in the No. 11 put up a good fight, chasing Logano down for most of the race. In fact, after the race Hamlin congratulated Logano with a handshake. He even had some nice words for Logano and No. 22 team. “…You just gotta compliment them on a great day and a great drive. To celebrate his win Logano did a burnout for an entire lap around the track and even picked up his son Hudson to take with him. In his post race interview on TNT with Shannon Spake, Logano said “...Doing some big smoky donuts around this place felt good.”

Logano is two spots above the cut off line for The Chase, currently in 15th with 511 points (-331 from the lead) following his win.
The race ended with only six cars on the lead lap:

3 Chase Briscoe No. 19
4 Ty Gibbs No. 54
5 Shane Van Gisbergen No. 97
6 Bubba Wallace No. 23
